Published on August 15, 2025

In August 2025, Saferoad Traffic teamed up with a German-Danish project team to implement an innovative traffic control project in Aalborg (DK). As part of the construction of a new school in the Stigsborg district, traffic management was significantly improved through the installation of two Traco Systems.

Automated LED variable traffic signs for greater efficiency

The city of Aalborg had specific requirements for the LED variable traffic signs:

  • Time-controlled switching on each day of the week
  • Automatic display of various traffic signs and information
  • Completely without on-site operating personnel

Thanks to our SafeTracx software, this requirement was successfully implemented. Our Danish team took care of programming the individual switching plans.

First international project after successful pilot deployment

The project is the first international contract following the pilot deployment of our Traco Systems at Denmark's largest open-air sporting event. It impressively underscores the versatility, flexibility, and international applicability of our technology.

Thanks to close cooperation between the teams from Denmark and Germany, Saferoad was able to efficiently ensure the project's success.
